Welcome to Lakeside Primary

Lakeside Primary School is a large school located in the historic spa town of Cheltenham. We have a happy ethos in spacious, secure and pleasant surroundings. We want everyone to be PROUD to be part of the Lakeside community. Our aim is to use this pride to inspire our children so they develop a love of learning through shared values, a caring environment, a 'can-do' culture, high standards and expectations.

Please check the Gloucestershire County Council school closures website for up-to-date information regarding school closures. We will also communicate with Parents/Carers via the following methods: the school Twitter page, Facebook and text message.

Safeguarding

Visitor Identification & Safety

All visitors, helpers and contractors must sign-in on entry to the school. Visitors unknown to the school will be asked for proof of identity
Visitors, helpers and contractors unknown to the children & staff are requested to wear identification badges and may be escorted by a member of staff whilst in the school
All volunteers & workers involved with the children will have completed the relevant DBS checks prior to coming into school
As a matter of safety, no visitor/helper/volunteer/contractor may open the school door to any other visitor without first checking with a senior member of staff
To assist with safeguarding those with allergies, we also ask that no nuts or products containing nuts are brought to school. Thank you for your co-operation.
